Goals from last week:
I needed to finish editing and filiming my podcast. I also needed to finish prepping for my final presentation in front of the judges. This included fixing up the powerpoint and finalizing the what I am going to be speaking about in front to fhte judges.
Mentor:
My mentor was Laurance Steinberg, distinguished progessor at Temple University and leading expert in the feild of adolescent development. I am extreemly grateful to have had such an influenctial mentor. He has been a amazing help when it came to undestanid the studies that become the foudnation not only for my research paper but for my entire project in general.
Research/Project:
I made the final touches to my project this week. I finished filiming and editing the podcast. It went a lot better than I expected. I interviewed two kids from my school, and they gave very detailed and very heartfelt stories. The podcast came out to be about 17 minutes. A few of my friends have watched the podcast, and I have gotten nothing but positive feedback. It feels really good to prodcue something that I am proud of, especially given how last minute I decided to undertake such a time intensive task.
With the podcast being complete, I was able to finalize my website. It has gotten a lot of visits over the last week, and I think it can really help teachers and other school administrators educate thier students about harassment.
My final presentation is today, Friday, APril 29, 2016. I am really looking forward to it, and I feel very confident about the outcome.
I also finished my source sheets this week, as I had a deadline late last week.
Goals from next week:
The only thing I have left to do for TPSP is to finish my Research paper, and then I will be completely done.
